Afrikchat is built for connection, culture, opportunity, and respectful conversation. These Community Guidelines explain what we expect from members and what may be removed or restricted.
Be respectful
Treat people with dignity. Disagreement is allowed; harassment, threats, targeted abuse, demeaning attacks, and intimidation are not.
No hate or dehumanization
Do not attack, degrade, exclude, or promote violence against people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, caste, immigration status, or other protected characteristics.
No violence, exploitation, or illegal activity
Do not post credible threats, instructions for violence, praise of violent harm, child exploitation, human trafficking, non-consensual sexual content, illegal drug sales, weapon sales where prohibited, scams, stolen goods, or content that encourages unlawful activity.
No sexual exploitation or non-consensual intimate content
Do not share intimate images or videos without consent. Do not pressure, blackmail, threaten, or exploit anyone sexually. Content involving minors in sexual contexts is strictly prohibited and may be reported to authorities.
No spam, scams, or platform manipulation
Do not use fake accounts, bots, deceptive links, phishing, malware, mass unsolicited messages, fake giveaways, fake engagement, or misleading financial opportunities.
Respect privacy and intellectual property
Do not share private addresses, phone numbers, government IDs, private messages, financial information, medical information, or other personal data without permission. Do not post content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other rights.
Keep groups and pages honest
Group and page owners should set a clear purpose, moderate responsibly, avoid misleading members, and remove content that violates these guidelines.
Report problems
If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, use Afrikchat's report tools or contact us. Reports help us review issues faster and keep the community healthier.
Enforcement
Depending on the situation, Afrikchat may remove content, limit visibility, warn members, restrict features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or contact authorities when required or appropriate.
